Hey!
Meu nome é Paula Coimbra, tenho 26 anos e nasci no Rio de Janeiro, Brasil.
Eu tive uma experiência inacreditável desde que iniciei a vida de estudante na DBAM.
O tempo que passei na DBA tem sido extremamente incrível. Desde os estilos de ensino, completamente diferentes dos métodos brasileiros, até o ambiente da escola, tudo tem sido interessante.
Estudar no exterior pode ser bastante desafiante no início e a experiência de estudantes variam de acordo com seus pontos de vista, mesmo que a adaptacao a uma nova cultura possa ser difícil, a academia tem organizado eventos para estimular a imaginacao dos estudantes e para criar uma vida social aprazível. Eu não optei por morar em Randers (eu moro em Århus, 40 km de distância), mesmo morando um tanto longe, eu pude conciliar ir todos os dias para escola e atender a maioria dos eventos organizados pela escola e pelos os meus amigos de classe.
Agora que eu praticamente terminei meus estudos na DBAM, decidi fazer um ano complementar na Inglaterra( uma opcão excelente dada pela escola). Eu sinto que estou no caminho certo para continuar o campo de “Management” mas seguramente. Tenho certeza de que fiz um execelente escolha em ter feito esse curso e que isso abrirá várias oportunidades na minha futura profissão.

My name is Paula Coimbra, I am 26 and I am originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
I have had one of the best times ever since I applied to become a student at the DBAM. The whole experience has just been awesome. From the learning styles, which are completely different from Brazilian procedures, to the school environment, the whole experience has been fantastic.
Studying abroad can be quite challenging in the beginning and student’s experience can highly differentiate from one another. Even though that the adaption to a new culture can be daring, the academy has tried to organize events to bring the students together and to stimulate their imagination. Though I didn’t opt for living in Randers (I live in Århus, 40 km away), I could manage to go back and forwards during the full two school years and be part of all social events provided by the school and classmates.
Now that I’m pretty much finished with school and have decided to take the 1 year top up in England (another good option provided by the school), I feel that I am on the right track to follow up the with the management field more securely. I am sure I made a good decision by taking this course and that it will open up many opportunities in my future profession.
