Guests from Russian partner school in St. Petersburg have visited The Danish Business Academy Minerva.
In early October Managing Director Victor Smirnov and Project Leader Vera Rashich from St. Petersburg Technical College of Management and Commerce visited The Danish Business Academy Minerva. The two Russian guests had a number of meetings with Tage Andersen, Business College Minerva, and Lis Randa, The Danish Business Academy Minerva to discuss the opportunities for future cooperation.
Cooperation since 1995
Since 1995 Business College Minerva has cooperated with St. Petersburg Technical College of Management and Commerce about realising three large projects, financed by the Danish Foreign Ministry: Teacher Training and Education, IT- & Long-distance Learning and Quality in the Teaching. The projects have been really rewarding for the St. Petersburg College.
New project focusing on mergers
Business College Minerva and St. Petersburg Technical College of Management and Commerce have future plans about organising conferences and new educations focusing on mergers – a "hot topic" in Russia as well as in Denmark. Like Business College Minerva, the St. Petersburg College has just gone through a large merger, and today the Russian college has 4000 full-time students and 2000 course participants. The possibility of recruiting Russian students for the international educations at The Danish Business Academy Minerva was also discussed, as many people in the St. Petersburg area are oriented towards the Scandinavian countries.
